BBC Coverage Of HMS Queen Elizabeth Arriving Into Portsmouth To Be Shown On The Big Screen

The Big Screen will broadcast the BBC coverage of Britain's new aircraft carrier, HMS Queen Elizabeth enter her new home in Portsmouth on Wednesday, 16 August 2017.

The 65,000-tonne carrier is the biggest warship ever to be built in Britain and has been undergoing sea trials since setting sail from Scotland's Rosyth dockyard in June.

BBC coverage will start from the earlier time on the Big Screen of 06:00am where she is now set to make her historic arrival into Portsmouth on Wednesday at approximately 07:10am. She will be the latest in a long line of famous Royal Navy ships to call the port home.
